- BAM Film 2026
Directed by Michael Almereyda (1994)
With
Elina Löwensohn, Suzy Amis, Galaxy Craze
Michael Almereyda’s (Tesla, Experimenter, Hamlet) 1994 work of horror—executive produced by David Lynch—follows young vampire Nadja (Elina Löwensohn) as she returns to NYC to avenge her father’s death at the hands of Dr. Van Helsing (Peter Fonda). The cult-classic, which fuses shimmering black-and-white 35mm with the hallucinatory grain of Pixelvision video, draws inspiration from Dracula’s Daughter (1936) and André Breton’s surrealist novel Nadja. We’re thrilled to screen a brand-new 4K restoration of the director’s cut.
