BAM Theater Gala: King Lear

Come ye, lords and ladies, Thursday, February 6th, to a royal
celebration with a gamesone gala affair fit for a king and his
three lovely daughters. The evening includes a dinner feast,
followed by a performance of King Lear, featuring award-winning
actor Frank Langella, and a sumptuous dessert reception.

Stage and screen legend Frank Langella joins forces with Chichester Festival Theatre to present this monumental interpretation of the Bard’s tragedy.
Last winter renowned theater director Peter Brook returned to BAM with the gem of a production The Suit. The 2013 Theater Benefit honored his triumphant return to the BAM Harvey Theater as well as the conclusion of BAM’s 150th anniversary celebrations. Read more about the festivities here.
