Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch returns with a landmark restaging of the two most iconic works in the legendary choreographer’s extraordinary repertoire.

Composer Matthew Aucoin makes his BAM debut with this chamber opera taking inspiration from Walt Whitman’s Civil War diary, directed by American Repertory Theater artistic director Diane Paulus.

Choreographer Bill T. Jones sets a portrait of his beloved nephew Lance T. Briggs against the political landscape of the present in this intimate, impressionistic collage for nine dancers.

The inveterate experimentalist performs The Velvet Underground & Nico, the album that charted the course of underground music for decades to come, 50 years after its release.

Physical theater artist Geoff Sobelle leads an ensemble of dancers and designers in a feat of impossible carpentry: raising a house onstage and making a home within it.
