Migration
Co-curated by the Parent Advisory Circle
Pre-film activity at 10:30—11:30amFrom the creators of Despicable Me comes an adventure-filled comedy about overcoming your fears and opening yourself up to the world and its opportunities, filled with Illumination's signature subversive humor, authentic heart, and unforgettable characters. The Mallard family embarks on a journey south for the winter to Jamaica via New York City, only for their well-laid plans to go awry, leading to new friends and unknown horizons. Get ready to take a flight on a hilariously funny, feathered family vacation like no other!
Join the Parent Advisory Circle before the screening from 10:30—11:30am and send a child’s imagination soaring with migration-themed activities celebrating the world of birds!
Alongside BAM Teaching Artist Albert Elias and the BAMkids Parent Advisory Circle, kids can create a postcard to send to family, make their very own wings, and explore the world of migratory birds, bees, and butterflies through creative play.
