- Part of
- Fall 2026 and
- Next Wave 2026 and
- I Guess It Was My Destiny To Live So Long
With two phenomenally successful previous editions of I Guess It Was My Destiny To Live So Long under his belt now, how does BAM Curator at Large and MacArthur “Genius” Hanif Abdurraqib raise the stakes for year three? By pulling an all-nighter, that’s how. The first-ever Poetry Overnight is exactly what it sounds like: a poetry reading that goes all night long, with featured readers, special guests, and unique collaborations. This special event is hosted by Jon Goode and includes loads of major talent including Abdurraqib and fellow BAM curator Helga Davis. Bring comfortable clothes and a sleeping bag if you wish, and come and go as you please; we'll be here until we can catch the sunrise the next morning.
