On December 16 2025, BAM’s Membership program is shifting from 5 Levels of giving to the following 4 Tiers.
Tier 1 – $100.00 - $249.99
Tier 2 – $250.00 - $499.99
Tier 3 – $500.00 - $1,249.99
Tier 4 – $1,250.00 - $2,499.99
Senior Level Discount: Seniors can apply for a 10% discount on any of the above Membership Tiers. This discount is only available by contacting the BAM Membership office at 718.636.4194 or by emailing membership@BAM.org

What are the terms of membership at BAM?
All purchased BAM memberships are active for one year from the date of processing through the end of the month. They are non-transferable and non-refundable. Benefits are subject to change.
Already a BAM Member and trying to figure out if anything has changed for you under the new structure?
All current memberships with a December 31, 2025 expiration date or later will roll-over into the new membership structure at no added cost. For those enrolled in our Automatic Renewal Program, you will need to re-opt in to confirm your agreement at the new rate. To do so, please contact BAM Membership at 718.636.4194 or Membership@BAM.org.
Can I share my membership benefits?
Memberships are non-transferable and may include up to two individuals per household. A maximum of two membership cards may be issued upon request.
When will my membership benefits go into effect?
When you purchase a membership over the phone or onsite at BAM, your membership will become active within 48 hours. When you purchase a membership online, your benefits will be active immediately.

How do I access my membership card?
In an effort to reduce plastic usage, BAM has switched to providing a digital membership card that can be saved on your mobile devices. Once your membership is active, please follow these instructions to access your card:
1. Make sure you have either the Apple Wallet (Apple Store) or WalletPasses (Google Play) app installed on your phone.
2. Go to this special login page.
3. Log in using your BAM.org login credentials.
4. On iPhone: Your membership card will pop up. Select “Add,” and it will appear in your Apple Wallet.
On Android: Your membership card will begin downloading. When complete, it will appear in the WalletPasses app.
Will I still be able to request a physical membership card?
Please email membership@BAM.org or call 718.636.4194 to request a physical card. Please allow up to two weeks for printing and mailing.
What should I do if my printed membership card is lost or stolen?
Contact the BAM membership office at 718.636.4194 or membership@BAM.org. Please allow two weeks for printing and mailing the replacement card.
What should I know about the numbers on the front and back of my printed card?
The circled number on the front indicates your membership level (currently Level 1 Senior—Level 5; starting in December, Tier 1—4). The member ID on the back is used to secure your film discounts and to set up a BAM.org account, enabling you to purchase live performance tickets with accompanying discounts.
How do I get $5 off regular-price film tickets (Tiers 1 and 2)?
Members in Tiers 1 and 2 can purchase two discounted movie tickets. Purchase tickets on BAM.org or by presenting your digital membership card at the BAM Rose Cinemas box office in the Peter Jay Sharp or BAM KBH buildings. The discount applies to a regular-price ($17) adult ticket and cannot be combined with other discount offers such as senior discount, BAMkids Movie Matinees, veterans, or students. Exclusions apply for special screenings. Members receive a $5 discount on tickets to BAMkids Film Festival and other special screenings promoted at the BAM Rose Cinemas.
How do I get free admission to the movies (Tiers 3 and 4)?
Members at Tiers 3 and 4 can attend regular screenings at BAM Rose Cinemas with a guest. No ticket purchase is necessary; simply present your digital membership card at the BAM Rose Cinemas entrances of the Peter Jay Sharp and BAM KBH. Space is held for Tier 3 and Tier 4 members, even for sold-out screenings. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the film’s start time. Additional tickets must be purchased at full price.
Do members get discounts for The Met: Live in HD and National Theatre Live screenings?
All Membership Tiers receive a $5 discount for HD screenings.
When are the member discount days?
The member discount days can vary between productions, but generally include 20% off during the first month that tickets are on sale to BAM Members. Members receive production and season announcement emails which include information about member discount dates.
How do I get my 50% off same-day live performance tickets?
BAM Members can purchase up to two same-day tickets per performance at a 50% discount, subject to availability and not to be combined with other offers. Rental events by visiting presenters (non-BAM presentations) may be excluded.
Tickets can be purchased by logging in to BAM.org (starting at 12:01am) or by calling Ticket Services at 718.636.4100 during regular business hours on the day of the performance. To find out if 50% off same-day tickets are available, contact Ticket Services at 718.636.4100, visit the box office, or see Upcoming Events. Log in to your BAM account online or use your Member ID over the phone or at the box office to secure your discounted seats. Limit two tickets per membership per performance. May not be combined with other offers and subject to availability.
How do I find out about Member Mingles, special screenings, and other member events?
To view all upcoming member-only events such as Member Mingles, dress rehearsals, and the annual member event, see Member Events. Invitations to member-only events are delivered by email to members Tier 2 and above with an active email. To add or update your email address click here.
How do I get special access to orchestra seats (Tier 4)?
Tier 4 members can gain special access to orchestra seats by calling Ticket Services at 718.636.4100 at least two weeks in advance of the performance date, subject to availability.
How many live performance tickets can members purchase?
For half off same-day tickets, members may purchase two tickets per performance—one for themselves and one for a guest. For all other live performance tickets, members may purchase eight tickets.
How do I use my 10% discount at Greenlight Bookstore?
Present your membership card at Greenlight Bookstore, 686 Fulton Street, or buy online at greenlightbookstore.com.

What is BAM's Automatic Renewal Program?
Enroll in our automatic renewal program and your credit card information will be stored in a secure database and charged annually to renew your membership. By enrolling, you're guaranteeing that your membership never lapses and that you won't miss out on your BAM Member benefits. You're also helping to save our resources and lessen our environmental impact by reducing the number of paper notices we send. Save time and enjoy uninterrupted benefits—and don't worry, we'll send you a reminder before we charge your card.
How do I enroll in BAM's Automatic Renewal Program?
Simply include the autorenew feature in your cart during checkout when you are purchasing your membership.
Can I sign up for Automatic Renewal if I'm not renewing my membership at the same time?
Yes! Just contact us at membership@BAM.org or 718.636.4194.
What if I change my mind?
If you wish to opt out of automatic renewal, you can simply contact the BAM Membership office at any time prior to your current membership expiration date.
