Long Island Railroad

The Long Island Railroad stops at Atlantic Terminal, approximately 1 block away from BAM Fisher and the Peter Jay Sharp Building. The BAM Harvey Theater is just another block and a half.

Musician and avid cyclist David Byrne has designed three sets of public bike racks for BAM, located in front of the Peter Jay Sharp Building.

From downtown Manhattan or the FDR Drive

  1. Take The Brooklyn Bridge.
  2. Turn Left on Tillary Street.
  3. Turn Right on Flatbush Avenue.
  4. Turn Left on Fulton Street.
  5. Take the Second Right onto Ashland Place.
  6. The Peter Jay Sharp Building is one block ahead at the corner of Lafayette and Ashland.

From Manhattan's West Side

  1. Take the West Side Highway to Canal Street.
  2. Exit Left onto Canal Street.
  3. Canal Street feeds straight into the Manhattan Bridge.
  4. Across the Bridge, continue straight onto Flatbush Avenue.
  5. Turn Left on Fulton Street.
  6. Take the Second Right onto Ashland Place.
  7. The Peter Jay Sharp Building is one block ahead at the corner of Lafayette and Ashland.
