In a remote Lebanese village where Christians and Muslims live together, a group of women attempt to prevent their stubborn men from igniting a full-blown religious war. Grieving the sons, husbands, and fathers they have already lost, they try every tactic imaginable, from staging a miracle to importing a troupe of Ukrainian strippers, in order to keep the peace. Legendary Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki directs this bold 2011 comedic drama.
