Backtrack (Director’s Cut of “Catchfire”)

Anne Benton (Foster) is more than an artist; she’s also a witness to a murder, making her the mob’s prime target. On the run, she moves from town to town, assuming new identities in a desperate attempt to disappear from mob members, including John Luponi (Stockwell). But Milo (Hopper), the ruthless hit man assigned to track her down, remains close behind. In this shadowy thriller, the road to reinvention is paved with paranoia, deception, and the constant threat of violence.
