The Cat Creeps

Journalist Terry Nichols enlists a photographer friend to help solve a murder, only to later rely on the help of a much stranger companion: a black cat suspected to be possessed by the spirit of a deceased woman. Toeing the line between true horror and crime melodrama, Erle Kenton (The Island of Lost Souls) creeps from mansion to boat brig to dollhouse, weaving around the corners of a plot in which nothing is truly as it appears.
