99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film
May 2—May 4, 2026
Directed by Aaron Aites, Audrey Ewell & Nina Krstic (2013)
Lou Reed narrates this award-winning documentary, a deep dive into the breadth and depth of the Occupy Wall Street Movement. The spark lit in a small park in lower Manhattan would snowball into an international movement, aimed at removing money from politics in an effort to move power from corporate interests into the hands of the people. The thought-provoking presentation includes interviews from Occupiers, economist Jeffrey Sachs, and business magnate Russell Simmons, tracing the movement’s aims of tackling affordable access to health care and education, protecting the environment, creating jobs, and more.
