  • BAM Film 2026
Directed by Abby Martin (2019)
In this gut-wrenching depiction of Gaza’s protest movement, Abby Martin paints a portrait of a people determined to return to their historic homeland. This film features a plethora of interviews with Palestinians participating in the Great March of Return, a weekly series of protests that saw tens of thousands march up to the border fence between Gaza and Israel. While hundreds were killed and thousands were injured, these protests continued unabated for months. Amid tragedy, Martin encounters immense hope and steadfastness, proving that a people can only remain oppressed for so long.
