Tamer, a Palestinian living in Israel, leads the life of a typical high school student until the beautiful Maysaa​​’ arrives. Hoping to impress her, he agrees to take part in a mysterious operation to covertly raise the Palestinian flag and peacefully disrupt local celebrations on the eve of Israel’s Independence Day—a day of mourning for Palestinians. Unsure of his own convictions, Tamer must determine what matters to him.
