Requiem

A young woman raised by a deeply religious family in a small town in southern Germany during the 1970s leaves home to study at the university. There, despite years of struggling with epilepsy, she encounters her first taste of freedom, friendship, and love, until cracks in her carefully cultivated veneer of security send her spiraling into grotesque visions. Afraid of being sent home, she consults a priest who reinforces her conviction that she’s possessed.
