- BAM Film 2026
Directed by Raven Jackson (2023)
With
Kaylee Nicole Johnson, Chris Chalk, Jayah Henry, Sheila Atim
The feature debut from writer-director Raven Jackson, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt serves as a decade-spanning portrait of Mack, a Black woman in Mississippi. With minimal dialogue and breathtaking cinematography from Jomo Fray (Nickel Boys), the sparse, unhurried film weaves alternately through love and heartbreak, joy and sorrow, connection and loss in a stunning dedication to the experience of being alive.
The July 25 screening followed by a Q&A with Raven Jackson.
