Shown in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Black Panther Party’s founding, these two shorts—one by acclaimed French New Wave auteur Agnés Varda and the other from the Newsreel collective—offer an opportunity to hear directly from Huey P. Newton, Eldridge Cleaver, and other Black Panthers during a pivotal moment for the organization.
