As his clips were edited and used across the globe to show the devastation of the crisis, Pratt grew disillusioned with the motives of the press. Pledging to control the narrative and tell the story of his community, he spent four years gathering footage of the heroic people around him. Featuring an ambulance driver that drives too fast, a local nurse who kept her job secret from her family, and Pratt’s own family, this Peabody and Emmy-nominated documentary showcases those on the frontlines in their own words.
